Kurt Hagen Loud, morose waves of cold, salty sound you can feel...like drowning in the Artic Ocean. Finally had to buy it because I couldn't get it out of my head for months.

adeepsleepforsteven I've been fairly cold on a lot of post-rock/metal as of late but these dudes really bring an a-game to the table. Definitely some of the best written and executed tunes of this genre that I've heard in a long time! Very much looking forward to the next lp. I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here! Kenneth Blick
